I have a friend named Tess who was gifted with a beautiful voice. Some people think the sounds like Fiona Apple and there is a certain resemblance. However her writing is much more interesting, idiosyncratic, and original. In one day she has achieved half her kickstarter goal.
So what I would say is, if you can spare a few bucks you should.

She doesn' just do Fiona Apple covers. She has an album's worth of music to record. And it should be. It is timeless in a David Lynch sort of way but also in a very honest way.

This is one of her songs which hasn't been fully recorded but should be.
